Constant Speed Unit and Retractable Undercarriage - CSU/RWhat's involved in getting a Constant Speed Unit (CSU) & A Retractable Undercarriage Endorsement with Barrier Aviation?
To commence training for a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), you must be endorsed on an aircraft fitted with a CSU and capable of a cruising speed of at least 120 Knots.
Constant Speed/Retractable – Course Outline
**All training is conducted in a Cessna 206 aircraft equipped with a Constant Speed Propellor. This aircraft is a six-seater aircraft and a commercially realistic training platform. Note: This course includes detailed pre-flight briefings, and reference notes.
From here you can progress your training by commencing the Command Instrument Rating course or the Night VFR Rating. Roy Kelly - rkelly@barrieraviation.com

A short training course and aircraft endorsement must be conducted in order to fly more sophisticated aeroplanes with design features such as Constant Speed Units (CSU) and Retractable Undercarriage systems. Upon successful completion of the endorsement you will be able to fly with passengers in aircraft fitted with the design features for which you have been endorsed.
